Welcome to Halstow Primary School

Yr 6 leaversWelcome to Halstow School's website. We hope you will find information and photographs that will give you a flavour of life at Halstow. Our imposing Victorian building lies in the Westcombe Park area of Greenwich only a short walk away from the historic maritime museum and Royal Greenwich Park. Our pupils from age 4 to 11 live in the roads surrounding the school.

At Halstow, we want our children to be happy and confident and share a passion for learning. We want them to achieve well and make outstanding progress in their time with us.

We value every child and ensure that we foster the individuality of their interests and experiences. Our curriculum is carefully planned to enable us to teach all the National Curriculum subjects in a creative and inspiring way. We engage children in a range activities that develop their knowledge and skills and equip them for life in the 21st century.

Our vision statement underpins all that we do

“At Halstow we all work as a team in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect to create a happy and safe learning environment in which clear objectives of teaching and learning are recognised and achieved.”
